About me
I became a member of the Ulster BOCES family in February of 2018 as its Workplace Learning Coordinator and became the Assistant Principal at the Career & Technical Center in July of 2022. I'm happy to announce that as of this writing, I've been appointed the Supervisor of Workplace Learning for the agency, leading a high performing team of five. I've been engaged in Career & Technical Education and Work Based Learning at both the local and national levels since 1990 and have a proven track record of success. Based on data, our team has made Ulster BOCES THE lead partner in workforce development in the Hudson Valley. I'm committed to strengthening collaboration between the education and business communities while ensuring that our young professionals are future and choice ready. I'm also very involved in Career & Technical Education (CTE) and work-based learning at the national and state level. I serve on the Association for Career & Technical Education’s (ACTE) Work Based Learning Division Policy Committee and chair its Advocacy Committee. I'm is also the President of the New York State Career Readiness Educators Association (CREA). I have two wonderful children, one of whom attended the Ulster BOCES Career & Technical Education Center, and live in Woodstock, NY (no, the festival was not held there) with my wife Suzanne, our two cats and a dog. I'm a foodie and will tell you where the best pizza is in most locations (best you'll ever have is at Luigi's Pizza in Park Slope Brooklyn, 21st Street and 5th Avenue. UNMATCHED!). I spend my free time enjoying the magic of the Catskills, playing guitar rather poorly, losing multiple golf balls, and spending as much time as he can with my children. I’m also a very superstitious NY Rangers hockey fan. LGR!!!
