ACTE's National Work-Based Learning Conference 2026

My name is Scott Mayotte. I’ve spent the past fourteen years teaching high school automotive technology at a regional CTE center after eighteen years in the automotive industry as a Volkswagen technician and shop foreman. Like many tradesmen-turned-teachers, I started with tools in my hands, not lesson plans. I’m passionate about helping new CTE instructors make that same transition with confidence.
