Dr. Jeff Arnott is a leader in workforce development, Career and Technical Education (CTE), and adult education, aligning his career with the mission of expanding apprenticeship opportunities and strengthening pathways to economic mobility. With extensive experience in CTE program development, apprenticeship expansion, and legislative advocacy, he has played a pivotal role in securing funding for workforce training initiatives and implementing policies that modernize education-to-career pipelines.During his 16-year administrative education career, Dr. Arnott served as an adult education and CTE program director in various-sized programs in Florida. He was the first to create a pre-apprenticeship program through an adult education program. Dr. Arnott was recognized as Florida’s Adult Education Director of the Year in 2015 and CareerSource Florida Partner of the Year in 2017. In addition, Dr. Arnott has won numerous marketing awards for his efforts in social media and program outreach.As the President and CEO of Lot 12 Education, Dr. Arnott champions innovative workforce connections, bridging the gap between industry needs and educational institutions. His leadership spans roles as an executive director and policy advocate, collaborating with state and federal entities to enhance skills-based education. A passionate advocate for apprenticeships, he works to increase accessibility to high-quality training programs that prepare individuals for in-demand careers.Dr. Arnott brings valuable industry experience in manufacturing, having worked in product development, sales, and national distribution within the automotive manufacturing sector. This hands-on background provides him with a unique perspective on workforce needs, enabling him to develop apprenticeship and training programs that align directly with industry demands. His ability to connect education with real-world manufacturing applications has been instrumental in fostering partnerships between businesses and training providers. Currently, he is part of the Xuman.AI team based in San Francisco, bringing the human experience to AI.He is also a sought-after facilitator of professional development training, equipping educators, workforce professionals, and industry leaders with the tools needed to foster effective apprenticeship and career-training programs. He specializes in delivering workshops on integrated education and training (IET), industry partnerships, and strategies for scaling workforce initiatives.With a strong track record of building partnerships between businesses, education providers, and community organizations, Dr. Arnott fosters collaborations that drive economic growth and workforce readiness. His expertise in grant writing, policy development, professional development, and industry partnerships makes him a driving force in transforming apprenticeship models to meet the evolving needs of the 21st-century workforce.Dr. Arnott holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida, further solidifying his expertise in shaping policies and programs that advance the workforce and technical education.
