About me
Dr. Chris Shaw is a Career Technical Education Supervisor with the Jefferson County School District in Alabama. Dr. Shaw has over 15 years of experience as a CTE business education teacher, work-based learning coordinator, post-secondary adjunct instructor, and CTE supervisor. He earned his Bachelor’s in Business/Marketing Education as well as his Master’s and Educational Specialist degrees in Instructional Leadership from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. He earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama in 2023. Dr. Shaw is passionate about CTE and providing opportunities for students to reach their maximum potential.
