This session will equip teachers, coordinators, and administrators with practical tools for building and sustaining business partnerships that elevate Work-Based Learning and CTE pathways. We’ll focus on strategies for initiating relationships with employers, clearly communicating program needs, and establishing opportunities for business involvement—from internships and mentoring to classroom engagement and employment placements. Participants will engage in a brief partnership mapping exercise, practice effective communication approaches through role-play, and leave with a toolkit that includes templates, scripts, and planning resources. This session is ideal for educators who want to strengthen employer engagement but need efficient, actionable strategies that fit into busy schedules.
