About me
Alicia has been an educator for 32 years, 25 of which have been in work-based learning. After 17 years as a high school teacher, Alicia moved into system leadership as Supervisor of School to Career Transition for Baltimore County Public Schools. Currently, she serves as the Supervisor for Career Navigation for BCPS. Alicia has served on Workforce Development and Chambers of Commerce boards throughout her career and has collaborated on career development program implementation for the MD State Department of Education, including the development of the Career Research and Development program and the youth apprenticeship program. She holds a BA in English and Secondary Education, an MA in Educational Leadership from Notre Dame of MD University, and an endorsement as a Work-Based Learning Coordinator. She currently teaches in the Career Coaching and Work-Based Learning Coordinator Certification Program for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. She has also served as a lecturer for Notre of Dame of Maryland University.
